Halloween and Such

The month of October has been very busy for our family. Dave was gone most of the month with work, and one weekend of leisure at a motocross race in California. He was in Vegas for a couple days, and then in Arkansas completing his BioLever certification for human performance and fitness diagnostics.
Halloween was a fun day for all of us. Each of the kids were beyond excited about the opportunity to get free candy. Ashlynn was an Angel, Elise was a pink princess, and Mikelle was a lion. Ashlynn went with a group of here friends, and Dave escorted Elise and Mikelle in the double stroller. Elise was in her own little world of fantasy, and Mikelle had a difficult time moving with any sustained pace in the bulky Lions outfit. This slow pace made for a prolonged evening, but was definately entertaining. Mikelle would stand, pressing against the door waiting for them to hand out candy. When the door opened, Mikelle would barge in and make herself at home.
Sue has been keeping very busy with the kids, especially while Dave was out of town. We are both very grateful that he does not have to travel much for his occupation. Sue is also busy with teaching her dance and fitness classes, which she enjoys very much and gives her an opportunity to speak with other adults.
We are somewhat glad that winter is approaching. This gives us a legitimate excuse to halt any and all work on the yard. Getting a new yard in is definatley difficult work, but we feel that we were able to make good progress this year. We have a few odds and ends to finish up on the inside, and some additional furniture, but other than that we are feeling pretty settled.
We hope that all of you are gearing up to enjoy the holidays. Please let us know if you are going to be in town, we would love to arrange to meet up with you.
Have a great day!
Dave, Suzanne, Ashlynn, Elise, and Mikelle

PS- We will post pictures soon. Dave needs to diminish the file sizes in order to post them.
